About the Collective

Art Farm Fennville

A collective of makers rooted in the land and the forge.

The Collective

Many Hands, One Vision

Art Farm Fennville is a collective of artists united by a commitment to material honesty — working with copper, upcycled metals, precious metals, and foraged botanicals sourced from the fields and forests of southwest Michigan.

Each member brings a distinct practice to the collective, yet the work shares a common language: deliberate process, respect for material, and objects made to endure.

Christine Currie

Artist in Residence, The Art Coast Collective

Christine Currie is an artist in residence with The Art Coast Collective, working at the intersection of metal sculpture and wearable art. Her practice draws on the transformative properties of copper and precious metals — materials that carry history, respond to touch, and change with time.

Her work is informed by the landscape of Fennville and the broader Art Coast region — the same terrain that yields the foraged botanicals at the heart of Art Farm's herbal line. For Christine, the forge and the field are not separate disciplines but a single, continuous inquiry into what it means to make something by hand.
